CJ Halstead is the nom de guerre of a visual artist, writer and musician based in Queens, New York. With a background in studio art, and a passion for creativity, CJ Halstead creates unique and transgressive pieces of art that blend noir, grindhouse, true crime, S&M, punk, and metal aesthetics with digital technology. 
Halstead is best known for his work with the band Autumn Brigade, as well as various side projects. He is the founder of Self Loathing Records.
